Flight Simulators

Flight simulators are devices that artificially recreate aircraft flight and the environment in which it flies, for pilot training, design, or other purposes. They are used to train pilots in normal and emergency procedures, to simulate various weather conditions, and to test aircraft designs and performance. Flight simulators can range from simple computer programs to complex, full-motion systems that replicate the sensations of flight. They typically include a cockpit or flight deck, controls, and visual displays that simulate the outside world. Some simulators also incorporate sound, vibration, and other sensory inputs to enhance the realism of the experience.
