DIS
DIS (Distributed Interactive Simulation) is a standard for real-time simulation communication between multiple entities such as simulators, virtual environments, and command and control systems. It provides a common language and protocol for exchanging data and events in a distributed simulation environment. DIS is widely used in military training and mission rehearsal applications, as well as in research and development of new simulation technologies.
