Current Drive Techniques
Current drive techniques refer to the methods used to generate and maintain plasma current in fusion devices. In a fusion reactor, plasma current is necessary to confine and heat the plasma to the temperatures required for fusion reactions to occur. Current drive techniques include both external and internal methods.
