CRT

CRT stands for Cathode Ray Tube. It is a vacuum tube that uses an electron gun to produce images on a phosphorescent screen. CRTs were widely used in early television sets and computer monitors. In space and astronautical engineering, CRTs were used in spacecraft displays and instrumentation. However, due to their bulky size and weight, CRTs have been largely replaced by LCD and LED displays in modern spacecraft.
