Crew Communication

Crew communication refers to the exchange of information between crew members during a space mission. Effective communication is essential for the success and safety of the mission. Crew communication includes verbal and nonverbal communication, as well as the use of communication equipment and protocols. In addition to communicating with each other, crew members must also communicate with ground control and other spacecraft. Communication protocols and procedures are established prior to the mission and are practiced extensively during training. During the mission, crew members must be able to communicate clearly and efficiently, even in high-stress situations. In the event of an emergency, communication can be a matter of life or death.
