Contingency Measures

Contingency measures refer to the plans and procedures put in place to address unexpected events or emergencies that may occur during space missions. These measures are designed to ensure the safety of the crew and the success of the mission. Contingency measures may include emergency response plans, backup systems, redundant equipment, and training for crew members on how to respond to emergencies. In addition, contingency measures may also involve communication protocols and procedures for coordinating with ground control in the event of an emergency. The goal of contingency measures is to minimize the impact of unexpected events and to ensure that the mission can continue despite any challenges that may arise.
