Combustion Chamber

A combustion chamber is a part of a rocket engine where propellant is burned to produce high-pressure and high-velocity gases. The combustion process occurs in a confined space, which is designed to withstand the high temperatures and pressures generated by the burning propellant. The combustion chamber is typically made of high-strength materials, such as nickel alloys or ceramics, and is cooled by circulating fuel or oxidizer around the outside of the chamber. The shape and size of the combustion chamber are critical factors in determining the performance of the rocket engine, as they affect the efficiency of the combustion process and the velocity of the exhaust gases.
