Atomic Time

Atomic time is a system of time measurement that uses the vibrations of atoms as a standard for measuring time. It is based on the principle that atoms of certain elements, such as cesium, vibrate at a very precise frequency when exposed to energy. This frequency is used to define the length of a second, which is the base unit of atomic time. Atomic clocks are used to measure this frequency and keep track of time with extreme accuracy. Atomic time is used in many applications, including satellite navigation, telecommunications, and scientific research.
