Adaptive Optics
Adaptive Optics is a technology used in space and astronautical engineering to improve the performance of optical systems by reducing the effects of atmospheric distortion. It works by measuring the distortion caused by the atmosphere and then using a deformable mirror to correct for it in real-time. This technology is used in telescopes, laser communication systems, and imaging systems to improve image resolution and reduce blur caused by atmospheric turbulence.
