KSC (Kennedy Space Center)


Kennedy Space Center (KSC) is a launch complex located on Merritt Island in Florida, USA. It is the primary launch center for human spaceflight of NASA and has been used for every NASA human spaceflight since 1968. KSC is home to the Vehicle Assembly Building, the Launch Control Center, and multiple launch pads, including the historic Launch Complex 39A and 39B, which were used for the Apollo Moon missions and Space Shuttle program. KSC is also the site of numerous unmanned rocket launches, including interplanetary missions such as the Mars rovers and the Parker Solar Probe. The center is operated by NASA and employs over 13,000 people.
