Fourier Transforms

Fourier transform is a mathematical technique that transforms a signal from the time domain to the frequency domain. In space and astronautical engineering, Fourier transforms are used to analyze signals and data collected from various sources such as telescopes, radars, and satellites. By transforming the signal into the frequency domain, engineers can identify the different frequencies present in the signal and use this information to extract useful data. Fourier transforms are also used in image processing to enhance images and remove noise. In addition, Fourier transforms are used in the design of communication systems, such as satellite communication systems, to analyze the signal and optimize the system performance.
