European GNSS Agency

The European GNSS Agency, also known as GSA, is a European Union agency responsible for managing operations and service provision of the European Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) - Galileo and EGNOS. The agency's primary objective is to ensure that Europe's satellite navigation systems are fully operational, reliable, and secure. The GSA is responsible for the operational management of the Galileo satellite navigation systems and the EGNOS Satellite Based Augmentation System. The agency also oversees the security of these systems and manages the use of the systems' frequencies. The GSA works closely with other European institutions, national authorities, the scientific community, and private sector companies to develop innovative and effective applications and services based on the European GNSS. The agency's work is crucial for the development of a new generation of location-based services, and for the competitiveness of the European space and satellite industry.
