Power MOSFETs

Power MOSFETs (Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistors) are electronic devices that are widely used in space and astronautical engineering applications for their ability to handle high voltage and current levels. They are used in power electronics circuits for switching and amplification purposes. Power MOSFETs are made of a metal gate, an oxide insulating layer, and a semiconductor channel. They operate by controlling the flow of current through the channel using an electric field generated by the gate voltage. Power MOSFETs have low on-resistance, high switching speed, and low gate drive power requirements, making them ideal for high-frequency and high-efficiency applications. They are commonly used in spacecraft power systems, satellite communication systems, and electric propulsion systems.
