Low Earth Orbit Satellites

LEO satellites have a short orbital period, which means they complete one orbit around the Earth in a relatively short amount of time. However, they require a large number of satellites to provide global coverage, and their coverage area is limited to a specific region. LEO satellites are also susceptible to atmospheric drag, which can cause them to lose altitude over time and eventually re-enter the Earth's atmosphere.
