Emergency Escape Systems

Emergency Escape Systems are the mechanisms designed to ensure the safe evacuation of astronauts and crew members from a spacecraft or launch vehicle in case of an emergency. These systems include escape pods, ejection seats, and emergency hatches. Escape pods are small, self-contained vehicles that can detach from the spacecraft and provide a safe environment for the crew during re-entry. Ejection seats are individual seats that can be ejected from the cockpit in case of an emergency. Emergency hatches are designed to provide a quick exit from the spacecraft in case of a fire or other emergency. Emergency Escape Systems are critical for ensuring the safety of astronauts and crew members during space missions.
